Vamos calentando motores para el concierto que Dream Theater ofrecerá en Lima el 22 de marzo "A dream come true" :)

Me topé hoy, después de tiempo, con esta canción que me levanto el ánimo, después de un día de esos eternos y a los que le faltan horas. Terminé dando vueltas por miraflores, buscando voltear la página del día con algo o apoyandome en alguien... creo que no encontré ninguno de los dos... mi culpa (mis señales de humo no son claras), buscaba poco nada en particular solo distraerme un rato... y en el camino esta melodía vino a mi mente Yeah!!, que poderosa puede ser la música. En fin, este álbum narra la historia de Nicolas y Victoria; durante varias partes del disco se vuelve a escuchar los acordes de la melodía principal que une la historia. La letra me gusta, me da una sensación de esperanza y trascender esta vida, solo que yo suelo cambiar una parte de ella así:

"if i die tomorrow, i'll be alright, because i believe that i'm gonna see my king"

The Road Goes On

Toto forever.... and Steve Lukather is the man.

Siempre de alguna forma regreso a escuchar este disco llamado "Tambu", aquel donde Toto se quedo sin su cantante principal y después de una pausa tras la muerte de Jeff Porcaro.

Toto renació y que disco, Steve Lukather como voz principal y el nuevo baterista, nada menos que Simon Phillips.

Recuerdo el concierto en la universidad de lima, como uno de los mejores que pude escuchar, su ejecución impecable, solos de guitarra impresionantes, armonías, melodías que me marcaron de alguna forma. Vuelvo a escuchar y la encuentro fresca, me produce nuevas sensaciones.
